 Storage Wars (stylized as STORAGE WAR$) is an American reality television competition series which airs on the A&E network. The original show aired twelve seasons from December 1, 2010 to January 30, 2019, and was renewed annually until the end of the season. Then, in April 2021 a 13th season premiered.



 



 If a storage space remains empty for longer than 3 months, it is able to be auctioned off in a single lot in an auction that is cash-only. The show follows professional buyers who visit storage facilities across the state and place bids on these lockers. Before each locker is auctioned the bidders are allowed five minutes to examine what's inside from the entryway however they are not allowed to be allowed to enter the locker, or even touch any of the items.
