Alison Doody

Alison Doody (born 11 November 1966) is an Irish model and actress. Following her film debut by playing a minor role in the Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) she went on to appear as a anti-Nazi archaeologist Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). Siobhan Donnevan's role is in A Prayer for the Dying (1997), Charlotte Taffin (1988) as well as Rebecca Flannery Major League II (1994) are other roles. A photographer approached Doody. Doody decided to take up modeling, which turned into the profession of commercial modeling. Doody did not shy away from glamour or naked work, a rule that allowed her to pursue an acting career. Doody was Archibald Craven's wife Lilias, in his dream in the television adaptation The Secret Garden. The storyteller's episode Sapsorrow was her debut leading part. It took place in 1988 with John Hurt, Dawn French as well as Jennifer Saunders. Her first appearance was in the film Taffin opposite Pierce Brosnan. Next, she portrayed the role of Dr. Elsa Schneider as an Austrian archaeologist, Nazi-sympathizer, and antagonist to Harrison Ford. She was given the Almeria Tierra de Cinema award on November 21, 2018.
